The new framework for protecting primary residences is due to head to Parliament within the next days after it was finalized during a meeting between government officials and bank executives yesterday. A new cold weather system, dubbed “Okeanis”, is to hit the country on Saturday morning, with temperatures dropping by more than 10 degrees Celsius in some parts and bringing snowfall or frost in central Athens at night. Conditions are expected to ease from Monday.
