State hospital workers union POEDIN is holding a 24-hour strike today. Workers who gathered outside “Alexandras” hospital earlier are currently marching to the Ministry of Health on Aristotelous street, downtown Athens. Panepistimiou street is currently experiencing heavy traffic.
The labour ministry’s bill introducing 120-installment settlement schemes for debts to the public sector was passed by the Greek parliament yesterday.
