Measures to avoid overcrowded supermarkets are in effect as of today. No more than 1 customer per 10 square meters will be allowed. People waiting in line at cashiers, will be obliged to be at least 2 meters away from one another. Delivery at home will be extended on Sundays.

The City of Athens is taking extra precautionary measures, by enhancing electronic payments and by returning license plates to violators, in order to encourage people to take their car instead of public transportation means.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in Greece reached 331 on Sunday said Professor of infectious diseases and Health Ministry spokesperson Sotiris Tsiodras at a press briefing on Sunday.
Tsiodras said that 51 patients are being hospitalised, 8 are intubated at hospitals in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patras while 10 have been discharged.
Tsiodras also referred to the Church’s role and expressed the hope the Holy Synod to reach the right decisions on Monday.

Ships remain moored in ports across much of the country, following problems at sea amid winds reaching up to 9 on the Beaufort scale in the Aegean.
Authorities have imposed a ban on ferries departing from Piraeus for the islands of the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese. Ferries are also banned from leaving the ports of Rafina and Lavrio.
Closed ferry connections for the islands of the Argosaronic islands continue while the route linking Perama, Paloukia and Salamina is suspended.
Several other ferry lines are suspended across the country including Agia Marina-Nea Styra, Akritsa-Aidipsos, Kavala-Prinos, Alexandroupoli-Samothrace and Rio-Antirrio.
Passengers scheduled to travel by ferry today  are advised to contact the local port authority and travel agency to check for possible changes or cancellations due to the bad weather.

A ship carrying 193 migrants and refugees from Turkey has ran ashore at the island of Kea (Tzia) early Monday morning.
The ship sailed from the Turkish port of Canakkale and was apparently headed to Italy when bad sea conditions forced it to run ashore on the Greek island.
Authorities say that three traffickers are among the passengers.
